CONTROL & AUTOMATION COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
Principal accountabilities
- Compilation of commissioning workpacks using design and vendor documentation.
- Work with the construction teams to develop an integrated construction/commissioning plan.
- Maintenance of check sheet and punchlist tracking database.
- Support the project teams in preparation for construction and commissioning.
- Support the project teams in implementing Flawless Project Delivery.
- To monitor the construction activities and provide assistance to the team to resolve problems.
- Witness pre-commissioning tests carried out by vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with standards.
- Carry out control and automation commissioning activities for major projects in various onshore and offshore locations.
- Ensure timely compilation of handover documentation.

Qualifications

Required |
Minimum 5 years (preferably 10) experience in the field of construction and commissioning of modern control and automation systems including foundation fieldbus technology and petrochemical measurement and control installations. |

HND (electronics engineering) or equivalent |
|
| |
|
Experience of design of petrolchemical electrical installations |
|
| |
|
Knowledge of requirements for hazardous area equipment |
Competence Required

Experience |
Has proven interpersonal skills associated with supervising a multidiscipline work force. |

|
Knowledge on operations, commissioning, construction standards, procedures and QA/QC. |
